On 5/25/08 at 0110, Units from the Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to a structure fire in the City of Lancaster off of Challenger Way and Avenue I. Engine 33 arrived on scene first to find a double-wide trailer fully involved in flames. Initial knockdown time took 20 minutes. The cause was accidental.

Los Angeles County- Traffic Collision Involving LA County E-129 5-25-08

E129 responding eastbound on M. Had a green light at Sierra Hwy and made left to go north on Sierra Hwy. A small car already going north on Sierra Hwy at the same time, with a red light, blew the light and T-boned E129 on the right, rear portion of the cab. Bent in the battery box and the running board along the right pump panel. FF in back was flown to Holy Cross as a precaution. Word has it that he will be fine. Captain and Engineer were treated on scene. 4 patients in car were BLS'ed to AVH. Small car was a total loss. Extensive damage.

City Of Lancaster, CA- Traffic Collison With Entrapment 1-29-08

At 1835 on 01/29/08, units from the Los Angeles County Fire Department were dispatched to a T/C with entrapment in Lancaster, CA. Engine 130 arrived on scene to find a two car T/C with several patient trapped in the wreckage. It took approximately 30 minutes to extricate all patients. 4 patients were taken by air ambulance to Holy Cross Hospital and UCLA Medical Center. 4 patients were taken to Antelope Valley Hospital by ground. Unfortunately, one patient expired on scene.

LACoFD Structure Fire

On 01/03/08, units from the Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to the report of a structure fire in the City of Lancaster. Engine 84 arrived on scene first to find a single story 20x30 guest house fully involved. Engine 84 on scene first and began fire attack followed closely by Engine 130 and Engine 33. The structure was a complete loss and the fire was knocked down in 20 minutes.
